Biography

Elizabeth Stuart is a member of the House of Stewart.

Elizabeth Stuart, daughter of James Charles Stuart and Anna Oldenburg was born on 19 August 1596 in Falkland Palace and baptised on 28 November in Holyrood Abbey, Edinburgh on 28 November 1596.^[1][2][3]

Elizabeth married Friedrich (Palatinate-Simmern) V of Bohemia on Shrove Sunday [14 February] 1612-13 in the Chapel Royal, Westminster^[2][4][5]
