Biography

William was the son of Henry Sinclair and Margaret Hepburn.[1]

He married firstly Elizabeth Keith, daughter of William, third Earl Marischal, and relict of Colin, Master of Oliphant. They had issue:

  1. Henry, who succeeded as 5th Lord Sinclair
  2. Margaret

He married seondly, Mariota Bruce. They had issue:

  1. Magnus, d. at Dysart 16 July 1586
