- 📢 WikiProject Days 2026 is coming. June 19 to 21 online. We will talk about how WikiProjects can be used as a space to connect with others and inform data modelling and quality decisions. Sessions will include how to make Wikiprojects more visible, create guidelines for good WikiProjects, and bring life back into neglected WikiProjects. Propose a session by May 26 or register to attend. Everyone is welcome.
- Mobile editors can now edit all datatypes directly in the mobile view. To help improve this new interface, Wikimedia Deutschland is looking for volunteers (especially editors from right-to-left languages) for UX testing sessions. - 2025-11-12: Temporary accounts were deployed on Wikidata. From now on unregistered editors will get a temporary account automatically assigned to them, instead of being identified by their IP addresses.
