(Biography) Federico García (feðeˈriko ɡarˈθia). 1898–1936, Spanish poet and dramatist. His poetry, such as Romancero gitano (1928), shows his debt to Andalusian folk poetry. His plays include the trilogy Bodas de sangre (1933), Yerma (1934), and La Casa de Bernarda Alba (1936)
