To synthesize first strand cDNA, DNasetreated RNA (0.5 y.g) was used with an Exscript RT reagent kit (Takara, Tokyo, Japan).

With a standard protocol provided by the manufacturer, qRT-PCR was performed in the ABI PRISM 7300 Fast Real-Time PCR System (Ambion, USA) using the SYBR ExScript qRT-PCR Kit (Takara, China), under the following conditions: 95[degrees]C for 5 min, 95[degrees]C for 10 s, and 40 cycles at 60[degrees]C for 30 s.

Real time RTq-PCR was performed with SYBER ExScript RT PCR Kit (TaKaRa, Inc., Japan) to determine the expression level of Catalase (Cat2) gene.

The expression was detected in an Eppendorf Mastercycler (Brinkman Instruments, Westbury, NY) using the SYBR ExScript RT-PCR Kit (Takara, China).
