The desired outcomes refer to skills, knowledge, and experiences that students are expected to learn, practice, and demonstrate as a result of participation in
COR. Most of these outcomes have been identified in the scholarly literature as essential for undergraduate research (Lopatto 2003).
After deciding to use contract support to meet or mitigate an identified and validated requirement, the requiring or supported unit leader must nominate a qualified person to serve as a
COR. This is part of the requirements package development and submission process.
These changes have had an impact on the operation of the
