The man was walking with his young grandson when the attack unfolded.
A tourist was seriously injured after a bull bison charged at him and tossed him about eight feet into the air at Yellowstone National Park in the US on Friday evening. The incident took place at the Bridge Bay Campground, located south of Fishing Bridge, where the animal had reportedly been behaving aggressively and charging at both people and vehicles.

The man was walking with his young grandson when the attack unfolded. According to Mike MacLeod, a professional photographer from Bozeman, Montana, the pair had been keeping a safe distance, around 100 yards, from the bison. MacLeod, who witnessed the incident, said the animal had already charged at a group of children who were taking photographs. The children managed to move out of its path, while campers began warning others as the bison ran through the area.

The animal later stopped to roll in a patch of dirt, a common behaviour among bison, and appeared to calm down. Believing the danger had passed, the grandfather and grandson paused briefly to take photographs before moving behind a group of trees as the bison got back on its feet. Moments later, a white pickup truck drove past, apparently triggering the animal once again. Instead of continuing after the vehicle, the bison turned toward the trees where the grandfather and grandson had taken cover.

14 years and 17 km: Elephant in Nepal finds same family it attacked in 2012, kills 2 more members

mmmm
In a strange incident, an elephant killed two people 14 years after killing two other members of the same family. The shocking part is that the family had relocated 17 kilometres away, and the beast still managed to find them. According to a report by Kathmandu Post, Dhurbe trampled Shanichara Bote's father and mother, Budhiram and Jharali, on Dec 16, 2012, near the Chitwan National Park. The danger posed by the rogue elephant forced the family to shift to Jagatpur after crossing two rivers. However, the animal found its way to their new home on Saturday (July 4), broke in and killed Bote's 25-year-old daughter-in-law and four-year-old grandson.

Chitwan National Park is the country's first protected area, and Dhurbe's violent antics in the region were known to the officials since it first killed a human in 2010. Yet, they failed to take relevant action to protect those living in the vicinity. The elephant has killed 25 people since then, including four from Bote's family alone. He told the outlet that the fear of the creature led them to sell everything and move to Jagatpur. "We believed that moving across the major rivers would keep us safe. But after all these years, the exact same elephant found us again, raided our home, and took my daughter-in-law and my little grandson," he said.
