Shotbow family, it's with great pleasure that I announce Shotbow's 14th anniversary. We are immensely proud of how far we've come, through ups and downs, to get to where we are today. We are so excited to share this special moment with you, the Shotbow community, without which we wouldn't be here today. Celebratory XP Multiplier
To celebrate, the network will have a 8x XP multiplier for the anniversary day, July 6. And for the rest of the week, enjoy a 2x XP multiplier on the weekdays and 4x XP multiplier on the weekends.

Thirteen years and counting
On the 4th of July, 2013, Annihilation first opened its doors on Shotbow. A lot has changed since then, but we're overjoyed that we can celebrate this special occasion with all of you. Thirteen years is a long time for any game mode to stick around, and the fact that there's still a community here to celebrate it means an awful lot.

So whether you've been here since the very first game or you only found us last week, thank you for being part of it. Let's make this one a good one.

Let's get stuck in
From the 4th to the 19th of July, hop on Annihilation and celebrate with us. There are boosted rewards to chase and a set of limited edition cosmetics to be earned!

Boosted rewards
Both Shotbow XP and Rank Points are boosted for the whole event:

• 10x all day on the 4th, the anniversary itself
• 8x all day on the 6th, marking Shotbow's own 14th birthday
• 4x on weekends
• 2x on all weekdays

These run right through to the 19th of July, so there is plenty of time to stack up the points.

All Classes Unlocked
Always wanted to try a class you've never unlocked? This weekend is your chance. Every class is free to play on the 4th and 5th only, so make it count.

Coastal, dressed for the occasion
Anniverstal returns to give Coastal a proper party makeover. It will be sticking around for the full length of the event, so you have plenty of games to enjoy it.

Events
We'll be running events all through the celebration, please head to Discord and make sure you've got Annihilation Notifications enabled, as we'll be announcing them on there! Lots to look forward to in multiple time zones.

Exclusive Cosmetics
These cosmetics are limited edition!
This year we are doing things a little differently with a brand new achievements system. Rather than one long grind, each cosmetic is unlocked by completing a whole category of challenges.

Open the menu in game with /achievements, or use the diamond named Achievements from your hotbar. Categories sit on the left, and the tasks for each one are listed on the right.

Every challenge you complete rewards 250 Shotbow XP, and finishing all the challenges in a category unlocks its cosmetic. Here is what is on offer:

Visual Kill Effect
Complete all three challenges to unlock it:

• Steel Veteran: Get 50 melee kills
• Sharpshooter: Get 15 bow kills
• First Victory: Win 1 match

Kill Sound Effect
Complete all three challenges to unlock it:

• Master Miner: Gather 500 ores
• Master Crafter: Place 500 blocks
• Chance Taker: Play 5 games after joining a random team

Nexus Break Effect
Complete all four challenges to unlock it:

• Nexus Breaker: Deal 25 Nexus damage
• Defender: Get 10 Nexus defend kills
• Sword Connoisseur: Buy a Netherite sword from the shop
• Boss Hunter: Defeat 5 bosses

And one last surprise...
Complete every category and you will also earn yourself a Baby Firwen lobby pet to show off back in the lobby.
