Corrections Policy

Getting it right matters more than getting it first.

Our approach

SEScoops works to be accurate in everything we publish. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently rather than quietly deleting or rewriting it.

How we handle corrections

  • Factual errors are corrected in the article as soon as they are confirmed, with a note indicating what was changed and when.
  • Significant updatesto a developing story are reflected in the article's “updated” timestamp so readers know the piece has changed since it first ran.
  • Clarifications are added when something we published was accurate but could be misread.
  • In the rare case a story is fundamentally wrong, we retract it and explain why.

How to request a correction

If you believe we have published something inaccurate, please tell us. Email [email protected] with the article's URL, the specific detail you believe is incorrect, and any supporting information. You can also reach us through our contact page.

We review every correction request and aim to respond promptly. Requests backed by verifiable sources are handled fastest.
