All-Way Stop Conversion - Intersection of 140th Ave NE and NE 80th St

Project Overview
This internal project will convert the intersection of 140th Ave NE and NE 80th St from a two-way stop to an all-way stop to improve safety due to frequent collisions. The project includes installing the all-way stop, adding a truck apron on the eastbound Redmond Way right turn lane, and adding crosswalk markings to three existing crosswalks.

During construction of the concrete truck apron, the eastbound right turn lane will be closed, with traffic detoured to NE 80th St. Temporary advance ‘New Traffic Pattern Ahead’ and extra stop signs on the center line will be installed for the first several months to help drivers adjust to the new traffic pattern.
The stop signs have been installed and will remain bagged until all elements of the project have been installed and vegetation has been cut back.
