Keep the content in the subreddit family friendly as a lot of the members are underage. No NSFW content is allowed, period.
Just because the post has DreamWorks characters in it does not make the post on-topic for it.
This rule is difficult to define concretely, so here are two examples:
Not meaningfully related to DreamWorks: "What kind of morning routine do you think Megamind has?"
Meaningfully related to DreamWorks: "After watching 3 times I still don't understand. Why does Toothless roar at Hiccup after he unties him?"
This is a very subjective rule, but combats the "posting for the steaks" mentality.
Debates and Light Arguments are fine, so as long as it stays civil. Remember the Human behind the screen. Debate the argument, don't attack the person.
If you see a pop up when you're creating a new post, do not try to circumvent the rule. One example is getting around the the "Who Wins" post ban by saying "Who would beat the other in a fight?", and other heavily spammed low-effort content.
If the post requires commenter interaction to be substantial, then the OP must have put some reasonably effort or creativity into the design of the post.
Some comment-driven posts are fun and creative. Some are just karma farming.
Posts such as "Who Wins", "Let Your Keyboard Decide", "Caption this", "Wrong Answers Only", "Thoughts on" may be removed at the discretion of the mod team.
Posting A.I. content is no longer allowed in r/DreamWorks. A.I. creations such as stories (and/or) art devalue and demotivate any effort that our members put into making their own creations to show and impress upon other users. To continue to be a ground of ideas and inspiration, A.I. content is prohibited.
