Is it POSSIBLE to turn this coat black??

Hey y’all!
I recently tried to dye a beige trench coat black because I want to cosplay Spider-Man noir. It’s 99% polyester so I used Rit DyeMore Graphite for the closest possible shade I could get, but it turned out light grey. Now I just want to ask, is it POSSIBLE to get it to become black?? I don’t care through which method 😭 even drawing it black with fabric markers is fine as long as it’ll be black in the end. 🥲🙏🏻
