Since PASNAP was formed in 2000, 41 groups of frontline healthcare workers from every corner of the state, in large urban medical centers and in small, community hospitals, have organized, won their union elections, and joined PASNAP. We are now 11,000-plus member strong. Together, we fight for our patients, for ourselves, and for patient-centered care in every hospital in Pennsylvania. And you can, too.
Forming a union is a federally protected right. Your employer does not get a say or vote in whether or not you and your coworkers form a union.

Whether you're passionate about volunteering, want to make a donation, or interested in becoming an advocate for change, there are many meaningful ways to join our mission and create lasting impact in our community.
We use our collective strength to advocate for things like safe staffing, universal access to healthcare, and prevention of harassment and violence against healthcare workers. Our advocacy was instrumental in passing Act 102, Pennsylvania's ban on mandatory overtime for healthcare workers.
