About the Games

Building on the legacy of Salt Lake City 2002, the Utah 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games aim to extend the benefits of hosting the Games to a new generation. The Organising Committee’s vision is to elevate communities, sport, and the Games experience across the entire state, drawing on Utah’s established winter-sport culture and long-standing volunteer tradition.

Utah 2034 will make extensive use of existing state-of-the-art venues, with ten of the thirteen competition sites reused from 2002 and all venues located within an hour of the Olympic Village.

Events will be centred in Salt Lake City, with additional competitions taking place in Park City, Soldier Hollow, Snowbasin and Provo.

The Utah 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will take place from 10 to 26 February 2034. Further details on the plans and preparations are available on the official website.
