AMD Turion 64 X2 L510

The AMD Turion 64 X2 L510 is a dual-core CPU for small, light and cheap subnotebooks. It is based on the old K8 core and offers only 512 KB Level 2 cache per core. Basically the L510 is a Turion Neo X2 L625 with a higher TPP rating (20 vs. 18 Watt). Therefore, the performance should be equal (see Turion L625 benchmarks) and therefore similar to a Intel Pentium SU4100. However, due to the 65nm SOI process, the AMD CPU needs more power (18 versus 10 Watt TDP). An advantage of the Turion L625 is the cheap price and the integrated DDR2 memory controller.
