In this two-day workshop, participants will explore the key role that leadership decisions play in designing and delivering professional learning to transform teaching and learning in mathematics. Whether you are a coach, teacher leader, or administrator, understanding how your decisions shape the culture of learning is essential to ensuring that all students engage in rich, relevant mathematics.

This session focuses on how coaches and teacher leaders can advocate for and implement research-informed coaching and teaching practices that promote positive learning environments within their districts, schools, and classrooms. Participants will learn about the Proactive Coaching Framework (PCF), a powerful tool that guides leaders at all levels in the complex decision-making process of implementing professional learning experiences and supports change agents in moving toward the broader goal of improved instruction. This interactive and engaging workshop is designed to help you think critically about your practice and act with intentionality to cultivate effective mathematics teaching deliberately and proactively.
