Editorial Guidelines

We are looking for writers to submit articles for this website that:

• Focus on the Royal Navy or discuss the challenges and issues it faces. (We also occasionally publish pieces about the US, Canadian, Australian or European navies)
• Relate to the current or future Royal Navy. (We are not a naval history site).
• Are up-to-date, in clear English, accurate and written in layman’s language.
• Are between approximately 500 – 2,000 words in length
• Do not promote a political party

Authors will need to have specific expertise or insight into naval affairs to meet our quality standards. Please contact us if you are interested.

Submissions are subject to the editor’s approval before publishing. We do not publish advertorials or ‘paid-for’ promotional articles on unrelated subjects.
