The duo of Paul and Peter Okoye a.k.a. P-Square, has set another record in the Nigerian music industry, having sold over a million copies of their new album entitled Game Over, barely a week after its release.
By this, the group has added another feather to its cap, as the first Nigerian artistes to have sold a million compact disc a few days of its release.
During a chat with us yesterday, the twin brothers, who were grateful to their fans, explained that they were in South Africa when their marketer, Tjoe, told them in a telephone chat that their album had sold up to one million copies within six days of release.
In 2004, when the duo released Get Squared, Tjoe had presented them with a car gift after announcing that the album had sold about three million copies in less than three months.
The multiple award-winning album later sold over seven million copies before the group decided to record a new album.
