A Mn-Ca-flagstone occurrence/group of claims located in the NW¼ sec. 3, T11N, R13W, G&SRM, about 1½ miles (2.2 km) SE of the Graham deposit, 11 miles S of Signal, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Owned by Mr. T.R. McComas. Owned by S. J. Love, Arizona (1958). Produced in 1930. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a manganese-bearing deposit. The ore body strikes N20W and dips 25SW at a thickness of 1.83 meters and a length of 114.3 meters. It is a bed 2 to 6 feet thick, which is the topmost layer of a series of red sandstone and shale which strike N20ºW and dip 25SW. The ore body is exposed for 375 feet, but on the west side of the arroyo it is covered with detritus a few feet back from its outcrop, and the depth to which the ore extends is not known. Some high-grade ore is psilomelane float. Local rocks include Middle Miocene to Oligocene sedimentary rocks.
Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings.
