The Nechelacho deposit is a Layered Alkaline Suite (Sheard et al 2012) appox. 2 km² in area located in the Thor Lake syenite complex within the huge Blanchford Lake alkaline complex. It is a REE, rare metal deposit owned by Avalon Rare Metals Inc., and is being prepared for production in 2015.
