Small-scale chemical-sedimentary Fe-Mn deposit, consisting of many small, conformable and lensoid bodies in a certain level of the Gaoyuzhuang Formation of the Mid Proterozoic Jixian Group. Host rocks are mainly intercalated dark gray silty dolomite and silty shale. The minerals are banded and massive. The supergene zone is composed of psilomelane and leptonematite. The deposit is similar to the Dongshiuchang deposit, 55 km away, in an EW-trending belt that hosts several other similar deposits.
