Concerts, festivals, sports, and cultural events are reshaping how people choose destinations, when they travel, and how cities compete for visitors. Russell will bring a firsthand view from inside the live entertainment industry on how that demand is created, and what it takes to convert it into lasting travel growth. More speakers to be announced soon. Apply to attend: https://hubs.li/Q04pRM9D0

  • Last year, fans traveled an estimated 40 billion miles for live music. That's roughly 83,000 trips to the moon. Live experiences have become one of the biggest reasons people book a trip. Travel companies have spent decades improving the booking journey. The next opportunity may be understanding the decision journey. Today we're announcing the inaugural Skift Live Tourism Summit, presented by Live Nation, bringing together leaders from travel, hospitality, aviation, destinations and live entertainment to explore how that shift is changing the future of travel. • As fan preferences evolve, so do the menus at our venues and festivals around the world. On a night out, more fans are looking for the same kinds of choices they make everywhere else. More Nutrition is bringing that to Ziggo Dome and Pinkpop Festival with protein coffees, bars and sugar-free flavor drops for fans in the Netherlands. Congratulations to the teams at More Nutrition, Ziggo Dome and Live Nation Netherlands.

This summer, SHEIN is connecting with communities across Europe through its “SHEIN Goes with Festival” campaign. As part of the campaign, we were proud to partner with Heroes Festival in Germany, bringing the experience to life through an on-site activation that celebrated music, creativity, and self-expression. Heroes Festival joins a series of festival partnerships and activations across Europe, each tailored to local audiences and cultural moments. Thank you to Heroes Festival GmbH for a fantastic first collaboration. We look forward to what's next. #SHEIN #SHEINGoesWithFestival #HeroesFestival #FestivalSeason #BrandExperience Live Nation Brand Partnership & Media GmbH

  • Marketers spend a lot of time understanding who people are. We wanted to understand who they become when they gather. So we analyzed nearly 300,000 fan responses and 27 million behavioral data points across 100 festivals in 15 countries. The research revealed just how differently fans experience live music from one festival to the next. We highlight the seven festivals that bring those differences to life. It’s difficult to headbang at a metal festival when you have no hair but I still managed to find my own way to rock on at Copenhell this week! Growing up, I was always more into hip hop but thanks to my son, I’ve got to know metal music quite closely in the last few years. So when the folks at Copenhell approached us to partner them this year in support of men’s health (or hellth as we call it this week!), I was delighted to join. Men are notoriously bad at talking things out. We’re often told that strength comes from quiet resilience and stoic acceptance of life’s ups and downs. That can mean shutting down when faced with mental health challenges and avoiding going to the doctor when something feels off. The reality is that going it alone is almost never the right answer and too many men find themselves isolated and helpless, not realising how many people are there to support them. Copenhell was a joyous explosion of togetherness, people brought together by a love of music that is as expressive as it is loud. I hope that everyone there, regardless of gender, recognises that their health is non-negotiable and they always have avenues to improve their health, and express themselves and their emotions. Thank you to COPENHELL for the invite, Forum for Mænds Sundhed for their partnership, and for everyone who made Copenhagen louder than I’ve ever seen it!

  • 150,000+ fans came to Governors Ball to see their favorite artists but left talking about much more than the setlist. A NYC subway-inspired Party Express from BeatBox. A minty silent disco from LISTERINE® Professional. DJ sets at the The Coca-Cola Company roller rink. Local food favorites through DoorDash. Ways to customize your look with PACSUN and Depop. Live music engages all five senses. The experiences that stay with fans often do, too. See how sight, sound, scent, taste and touch shaped some of the weekend's most memorable moments and what marketers can learn from them. https://lnkd.in/dpPwHcys

  • Streams, saves and shares have long helped artists understand how fans engage with their music. Now they can help unlock live experiences, too. Launching today with Role Model, Reserved identifies some of an artist's most engaged fans on Spotify and gives them access to purchase tickets during a dedicated presale window. Reserved was developed in partnership with Live Nation Entertainment and powered by Ticketmaster to turn fandom into live access. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gFuYG2sZ
