She previously spent eight years as a news editor at Variety, covering not only breaking news in film and television, but serving as the publication's primary gaming writer as well. She was a finalist in the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Awards for her multimedia feature on Joe Manganiello's secret celebrity Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
When she's not churning out opinions on movies and TV, you can find her binge-watching anime, dumping hundreds of hours into Animal Crossing, reading fantasy novels, or teaching her tiny dog Harley new tricks.
