Compounds 1a and 1b gave
vinylic substitution reaction at room temperature and with the absence of solventbecause of the reactivity of terminal carbon having nitrodichlorovinyl, and they yielded monosubstituted polyhalobutadiene compounds 3a [49] and 3b [50].

Pursuant to the long-term contract, Praxair will supply nitrogen and oxygen to Braskem, a petrochemical company and producer of biopolymers, in its 200 tonnes per day capacity facility that has an expanded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) unit, the company said and added that Braskem has invested about USD500m in the new industrial unit which produces
vinylic materials, polyethylene and polypropylene.
A new silane and imide ring-containing
vinylic macromonomer, maleimidedoethoxybutoxydimethylsiloxy butyl aerylate, has been synthesized at four different steps, and it has been used in the preparation of water-based polyurelhane-acrylic hybrid nanocomposite emulsion.
One of the best methods for the synthesis of these superabsorbent hydrogels is graft copolymerization of
vinylic monomers onto natural polymers.
With the acquisition Yule Catto hopes to boost its Malaysa and Vietnam plants production of acrylic and
