A two-time Division 5 all-star, Kitchen helped Narragansett finish 8-4 before falling in the Division 5 playoffs to West Boylston.

Lisa McNeal, Sainsbury's community officer, said: "The People's Kitchen helps to feed hundreds of people each day and only has limited resources."

His guiding principle is that an individual's ideal kitchen helps him or her lead a healthier, more productive and fuller life.

This year, his efforts in the kitchen helped to raise pounds 265 when the cake was raffled.
