3,a show the temperature distribution measurements [T.sub.min] according to measurements made in 2014, when the
furnace lining had a small number of defects.
This article will look at the possible causes of coreless induction
furnace lining wear, and explain why melting ductile iron will cause a more aggressive reduction of the silica lining than when melting gray iron.
Inductotherm (Rancocas, New Jersey) showed off IRIS (Inductotherm Refractory Imaging System) technology, which is a digital
furnace lining monitoring system.
In particular, they are aimed at analyzing the distribution of temperature fields inside the refractory lining under different operating conditions [4, 5], determination of mixing features of the metal melt [6], improving the diagnostic systems and continuous monitoring of the
furnace lining state in industrial use [8, 9] and improvement of structural elements of furnaces and inductors [3, 7].
Furnace lining was the largest application market for magnesium oxide nanoparticles with demand estimated at over 60 tons in 2013, owing to favorable properties including large surface area, high purity and hardness.
Inspection showed that these cracks always form in certain locations on the ingot side, which faced the
furnace lining (Jandos, 2009).
Applications analyzed and reported in this study include refractory uses such as
furnace linings, construction & ceramics and precision industries such as aerospace, advanced electronics and others.
These targets included installation of high efficiency oxy-fuel burners; modification to site a v-ditch to reduce dissolved solids; development of pouring techniques to minimise heat loss; minimising the amount of pallets scrapped and finding additional outlets for reuse; improved hazardous waste segregation to reduce materials land filled; improved office building insulation to reduce heat loss; introduction of a procurement policy to consider the energy rating of goods; and furnace operator training to cut gas consumption and damage to
furnace linings (reducing downtimes and reheating by 50%).
Recommended applications include
furnace linings, gas turbine muffler seals, expansion joint seals, insulation for laboratory ovens, gasketing for pollution control equipment and vacuum degassing equipment; super heater seals; gasketing and seals for doors on industrial boilers, wood burning stoves, coke ovens and furnaces, among other applications.
The
furnace linings available to today's aluminum metalcaster shed the least amount of heat in history and save considerable BTU.
