From a structural viewpoint, this vegetation is characterized by intricate, almost impenetrable bushes, such as Rubus ulmifolius, Ficus carica and
Spartium junceum.
Five plots were characterised by the presence of perennial herbaceous species, whereas shrubs, such as
Spartium junceum, Calicotome villosa and Ricinus sp., were found in 12 plots.
This species was also recorded from Santa Fe province on
Spartium junceum L.
Other species such as Arachis hypogaea, Lablab purpureus, Sesbania grandiflora,
Spartium junceum, and Vicia faba are also species with more than one use (Table 2).
