In the new memoir, Connors strongly hints that his then-19-year-old fiancee had an abortion shortly before they were supposed to tie the knot in 1974, the New York aily News reported.

"Subsequently, the Attorney General agreed that the sentences in respect of William, John, James and Miles Connors should be appealed."

Connors, 19, was arrested on July 25 at Labre Park, Ballyfermot, Dublin, where he had been staying with one of his aunts.
