Seen at Anglesey Abbey, Cambridgeshire.
Just playing around with this one. I've probably overdone it, but was interested to see how far I could go with the colours.
This picture is from Flores, Azores. I only just found it again. I liked the yellow flowers which were all over the place. Of course I don't know what they are, maybe someone can tell me.

Dioscorea japonica (Japanese yam, ‘Yama-no-imo’ in Japanese) is a perennial plant in the yam family, native to Japan and northeastern Asia. Its grated root is served as ’Tororo’ in Japanese cuisine. Hedera rhombea (Japanese Ivy, ‘Kidzuta’ or ‘Fuyu-zuta’ in Japanese) is an evergreen vine in the family Araliaceae, native to Japan and northeastern Asia.

me: egg shells.
mom: what?
me: egg shells.
mom: nevermind.
this section of woodland had all yellow leaves... birch, beach, elm and poplar... so I call it the yellow forest. I guess this maple wanted to fit in with its surroundings, even though it can see the bright orange from across the clearing.
Hurray I am back online. The move went ok, still got a few boxes to unpack but I am ready for Christmas as well so rather pleased about that.
