According to the Jean Michel Jarre website, and other sources, this was originally released in 1972 not 1973.

The mastering of this version includes the hand clap at the beginning of track 2 same as on the original vinyl release. Some later issues of the CD omits this.

A great release, a great performance and well recorded "mini album".

There is a mastering error on disc 2 in that the first part of Track 4, "Los Endos", is included with Track 3, "Dance On A Volcano" (and the "Drum Duet"), Tracks 3 and 4 could have been combined as one and indexed into 3 sub-chapters. At any rate even... See full review

I just got a used copy of this and mine is a misprint. CD 1 contains the contents of CD 2 (including CD 2 matrix) but labeled as CD 1. Anyone else out there have the same misprint?

I agree with Huub123 that this is a noisy pressing. My copy of this pressing is very noisy, especially within the first 30 seconds of each side however the noise persists through the entirety of each track. This is far from being the best example of a... See full review

The sound of this release is very muffled and low volume (not cut very hot). I really wonder if the low quality of this release it due to the source or due to the mastering of the LP.

Excellent review by progfan97402. I just picked up this album a few months ago and find it to be fantastic. I learned about it after seeing an ARP documentary on YouTube. I think what Powell achieved here using synths, and the extent of how he used... See full review

I just got my new silver coloured copy number 9314. Just like many of the other positive comments here mine sounds really good and the pressing is of high quality with virtually no noise. It was well worth it.

I think that this release should be listed as Germany since the label is based in Berlin and the disc is pressed by Optimal Media which is also based in Germany. I have this CD and nowhere on the cover or disc is there any indication this is from the UK. See full review

I purchased mine new back in the early 2000s. It is a very nice and quiet pressing and the gatefold cover is of really nice quality. I don't know what an original sounds like but this one sounds great.

This version is fantastic. The sound is great and the pressing is very clean with very low noise. One of the best pressed reissue records I have heard in a very long time. The extra LP with the vaious alternate takes and mixes is also excellent.
