Lawyer, cassette enthusiast, pitsky owner, philosophy reader and lover of all quality music ranging from Classical to Black metal. Nowadays, it's mainly pop, indie, country and jazz music I'm listening to (because it simply sounds great on tape and breathes a fresh air on my persona during the hectic days), but the old metal heart is still there, buried underneath the surface🤘

An excellent release - minimal noise level, no sibilance, sound clarity, good recording level, etc. Highly recommended.

Overally, this is a good release with perfectly sounding piano lines, although I've heard a lot of better sounding cassettes from the Sacred Bones Records' catalogue.

Plastic Pop Records did a wonderful job on this release, it sounds really great. On the other side, I feel that this album deserved a better mixing treatment - the lower production value kinda takes some of its magic away.

Apart from the sound's overall distortion (which makes the overall listening process difficult at times, but also quite complements the record's natural character), I pretty much like this cassette.

Dreamy, spacey album with beautiful insert photos, melodies and vocals. Sounds really great on my deck, I'm positively surprised by the tape's quality :)

I have a green variant and agree, the sound is quite disappointing; e. g. Jessie Ware's last two great albums were treated perfectly on cassette. I can only dream about the same quality on this release.

The inlay card is so tight, it's almost impossible to put the cassette in or out.

I'm very satisfied with the quality of this cassette. The sound has a nice depth and warmth which fits the record's theme very well and produces an authentic experience which makes me almost connected to the songs; not to mention that Gracias a la... See full review

Crisp, balanced, dynamic and beautifully coloured cassette. Definitely a must-have, the quality itself is amazing.

Definitely a great sounding cassette, one of the best of its time. On the other side, the cardboard sleeve with an inlay card were so tight at the time of unpacking that I almost broke it.

An interesting looking modern cassette but the sound could be a bit better - there's definitely a small amount of hiss present while listening to it. Anyways, it's a great item to have in the collection and I'm very pleased with it.

Good sounding cassette, very clear and resonant. The tape hiss is more prominent throughout the tape, but nothing critical. If using the proper cassette deck, the whole listening experience should be pleasant.

This cassette tape sounds absolutely amazing. Beautiful, clear and rich sound with perfectly balanced lows and highs, no distortion and minimal tape hiss. This is how all pre-recorded tapes should sound nowadays. It sounds as good as the vinyl.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that. Probably a mistake on the side of manufacturer. But anyways, a great compilation by FTG.

Warning - the last three tracks may skip. At least my version suffers from this problem... The very last track is unlistenable from about 0:50 mark, but after a while it plays good until the end. I love Funky Town Grooves, but a small amount of their... See full review
