      One year I was in marching band we did our show based on this (symphony?). Ever since then I do occasionally enjoy listening to the whole thing. While perhaps not on par with the greatest symphonies of the past great composers, I think it is surprisingly good for a modern-written symphony. Usually modern 'classical' composers write garbage noise and you must resort to movie soundtracks to find good classical-style modern music (Basil Poledouris, Joe Hisaishi, Howard Shore, John Williams too I suppose). But it is nice to see modern 'classical' music that is enjoyable and can actually get stuck in your head (Mike Oldfield's Music of the Sphere's comes to mind as well).
