Indexer Notes

Writer identification by Martin O'Hearn. Per Bob Hughes, the script was taken from a story written by Siegel before he entered the service for the Sunday Superman newspaper strip, except for the last two panels which may have been written by Don Cameron.

Possible letters credit from Todd Klein via his blog Kleinletters, posted 23 September 2016 (http://kleinletters.com/Blog/ira-schnapp-in-more-fun-comics/).

Story does not take place in Smallville. Clark Kent does not wear glasses. Superboy only appears in the last panel. No Siegel and Shuster by-line. Ma and Pa are just referred to in the story as the Kents.
