Wolverine has been around for a long time and has fathered a decent amount of children in those years. Whether they be from another universe, alternate futures, or from the mainstream continuity, there's several little Howletts running around Marvel.

Many of Wolverine's children possess the same powers he does, but others boast unique abilities Wolverine has never used. These kids stand out above the rest, equipped with greater power and more offensive options. While each of his kids has proven formidable in their own right, a select few have confirmed that they're more powerful than the rest and the best at what they do.

10 Amiko Has No Powers At All

Amiko isn't Wolverine's blood daughter, so she doesn't have his mutant powers. Orphaned by a dragon attack in Tokyo and adopted by Wolverine and Mariko, Amiko lives with Wolverine's friend Yukio. Yukio is a master ninja assassin and trains Amiko in various martial arts disciplines.

While Amiko isn't ready for the big wars her foster siblings are, but she's very tough for a human. She's done her share of crimefighting in Japan, putting Yukio's lessons to good use. She may not become a superhero, but anyone messing with her will learn a rather painful lesson.

9 Jimmy Hudson Is A Basic Howlett

Ultimate Wolverine wasn't as fruitful as 616 Wolverine, but he had one child readers met. Jimmy Hudson possessed all the same powers as his father did, except he didn't have adamantium inside him. Jimmy joined a new incarnation of the Ultimate Universe's X-Men and seemingly died during the Incursions.

Jimmy Hudson later appeared in the 616 universe and joined the time-displaced original five X-Men. As far as power level goes, he was a pretty basic Wolverine. While Jimmy was handy in a fight, his lack of Weapon X enhancements put him on the weaker end of the scale.

8 Kirika Yashida Grew Up In The Age Of Apocalypse

The Age of Apocalypse reality was brutal and extended into the times after Apocalypse's death. This world became Kirika Yashida's home. The daughter of Wolverine and Mariko Yashida, she didn't meet her father until later in life, after her mutant powers had kicked in. Kirika had the requisite claws, super senses, and healing factor.

Much like Jimmy, Kirika possessed the basic Howlett power set, but growing up in the Age of Apocalypse's cruel reality gave her an edge. She learned to fight from an early age, making her much tougher than some of her alternate universe siblings and allowing her to defeat the powerful remnants of Apocalypse's empire.

7 Scout Has Fewer Claws But An Extra Power

Scout proved herself as Wolverine's sidekick when her sister Laura wore the mask. Laura Kinney's genetic clone, Gabby Kinney had all the modifications her sister possessed, except she only had one claw on each hand. However, Gabby had a unique combat advantage. Scout didn't feel pain.

A healing factor is a great thing to have, but Wolverine and his children still feel the pain inflicted on them. Scout can't, which means she can take just about any hit without flinching. This modification was perfect for her as an assassin and has helped her as a superhero.

6 Akihiro's Pheromone Releasing Ability Allows Him To Manipulate Others

Honed into a weapon to be used against his father, Akihiro was a pawn in Romulus's battle against Wolverine. The bisexual mutant's claws were different, with two on the top of each hand and one as a dewclaw near his wrists, but he had the same healing factor and super senses.

Akihiro also had an extra power. He could release pheromones, which made it easier for him to manipulate others. This came in handy during his days working with Romulus and X-Factor, as he could get answers for his questions and interrogate others without inflicting violence.

5 After One Of Her Krakoan Resurrections, Wolverine Received An Adamantium Skeleton

Laura Kinney took her father's place as Wolverine after he died. Before that, she was subject X-23. Modified by Weapon X in similar ways to her father, except only her claws were laced with adamantium, Laura escaped the program and struck out on her own. Since then, she's become an amazing hero.

Recently, on one of her Krakoan resurrections, Proteus bonded adamantium to her bones. This granted her the same durability her father possessed. Scout didn't feel pain and Akihiro could control people, but Laura was a tank like her father, something neither of them could match.

4 Sabreclaw Had More In Common With Sabretooth Than Wolverine

Sabretooth is Wolverine's most brutal enemy and in the future of the MC2 universe, Wolverine's son is like his enemy in every way. Sabreclaw stood against his heroic sister Wild Thing and the Avengers of the future at every turn. He had the family healing factor and senses, as well as superhuman strength, speed, and stamina.

Unlike his father, Sabreclaw's claws came from his fingertips and he had sharp teeth. While he didn't have an adamantium skeleton, he had adamantium sheathes for the claws, making them just as formidable. His superhuman physical abilities gave him an enormous advantage over most of his multiversal half-siblings.

3 Raze Darkholme Is A Greater Shapeshifter Than His Mother

Raze Darkholme comes from an alternate future where Wolverine and Mystique had a child. He possessed all of his father's abilities, plus those of his mother. Raze displayed a temperament and moral alignment matching Mystique's and joined the future Brotherhood of Mutants. Raze later traveled back in time with the Brotherhood, posing as the X-Men of the future.

Raze was a great fighter who knew how to use his shapeshifting abilities to perfection. Those powers gave him a leg up against most of the people he fought. Raze could be anyone at any time and had his father's powerful healing factor and claws.

2 Wild Thing's Claws Are Comprised Of Psychic Energy

There are many influential alternate universes out there, but the MC2 universe often gets left out of discussions. Home to the children of Marvel's greatest heroes, Wolverine had two kids with Elektra: the aforementioned Sabreclaw and Wild Thing. Wild Thing possessed the same superhuman physical abilities as her brother, as well as the family healing factor and super senses.

However, Wild Thing's claws differed from her father's. Wild Thing had minor psionic powers, which allowed her to create claws out of pure psychic energy. This also granted her additional offensive options.

1 Reine Du Rien Has Magical Powers

Among Wolverine's various children, Reine du Rien remains the most unique. Wolverine's daughter with Sylvie D'Arqueness, Reine inherited her father's mutant powers and her mother's magical abilities. Reine coated her bone claws in magical energy and could open portals to a variety of places, including Hell.

Reine is easily Wolverine's most powerful child. Between her father's and her mother's powers, Reine establishes herself as a powerful mutant sorceress, helping her father defeat an ancient demon called the Truth. Reine isn't as great a fighter as some of her half-siblings, but with powers like hers, she really doesn't have to be.
