Pasteurization makes milk safer for consumption
People who consume unpasteurized milk products face a significantly higher risk of brucellosis, salmonellosis, human and bovine tuberculosis, summer diarrhea, streptococcal infections, and diphtheria than those who consume pasteurized products.
