The range includes wines selected for immediate drinking alongside mature and cellar‑worthy bottles, many of which are offered with documented provenance and professional storage histories. Are these wines suitable for enjoying now or cellaring?

Our selection includes wines intended for both immediate drinking and long‑term ageing. Indicative maturity windows are shown on individual wine product pages to help you understand when a wine is likely to show at its best, based on factors such as style, vintage and structure. You can also read more about how maturity windows work in our guide: When is wine ready to drink?

What does “In Bond” mean when purchasing wine?

Buying wine “In Bond” means it is held in a bonded warehouse under HMRC supervision, where UK duty and VAT are suspended. These taxes are only payable if the wine is later withdrawn from bond for delivery to a UK address. Wines stored In Bond are typically kept in controlled conditions and are often intended for long‑term storage, collection or later resale.

How are delivery and storage managed after purchase?

After purchase, wines can either be delivered to you or stored professionally, depending on the option selected at checkout. Wines chosen for cellaring are kept in our storage facilities, designed to provide optimal conditions for fine wine, including temperature stability and careful handling. You can find out more about our storage services, including storage fees and applicable duty charges, on our wine storage page .
