Overprotected (UK Single)
Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2010Overprotected is either the second or third single released from Britney Spears' third studio album "Britney". Two versions of this song was released, the album version (which is the one featured on this single), which was released internationally, and "The Darkchild Remix", only released in the US. Overprotected is a teen-oriented song, talking about how they need time to grow, and parents can't be on their backs all the time. I can relate, because I am a teen. I really think this song is underatted. I think it has a good meaning, and a lot of people can relate to it.
1. Overprotected (Album Version) 5/5 - I personally think this is better than "The Darkchild Remix". It may dissapoint some people, because it's pure pop.
2. Overprotected (JS16 Remix) 3/5 - A lot of people say that this remix is bad, but I have to disagree. Thought it is low on lyrics, the whirlwind effects are really cool. It's not the best, but definitely not the worst.
3. I'm A Slave 4 U (Thunderpuss Mixshow Edit) 5/5 - This is the best song on here. The beat is great, it really makes you wanna get up and dance.
You can find tracks 1 and 2 on almost any Overprotected single, but the UK single is the only place you can find track 3. So definitely get this CD if you're a fan, especially because track 3 is very rare.

It Jumps way to much
Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2014I was supposed to get a "used" case and a never been played record. However as soon as I played both sides it skipped awfully. Also side B has a scratch, it is clearly used and badly if it is this level of damaged

Overprotected - Britney finally tells it like it is!
Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2003In January 2002, Britney Spears released her 10th single Overprotected. It became Britney's 9th Top 10 UK single, peaking at No.4. The song was a surprising return to Britney's trademark pop roots; after the R'n'B funk of her last single I'm A Slave 4 U, many people thought she had fully turned her attention to that particular genre of music. Overprotected, however, proved this scenario to be incorrect and gave an indication of what a diverse (in musical terms) album Britney was, her self-titled third release. It's not surprising - considering the way the song sounds - that Overprotected was written and produced by Max Martin, the guy behind most of Britney's other massive hits such as Baby One More Time, (You Drive Me) Crazy, Stronger and Oops!...I Did It Again. Overprotected begins with a section where Britney is whispering about what she needs; love, space, herself etc. A man then goes "Action!" and the song begins. "Say hello...to the girl...that I am," sings a confident Britney, addressing all those critics who still think of Britney as a little girl. The song has a very futuristic beat to it with a complex bassline to it. The lyrics are very personal about Britney's life and feelings, yet are somewhat forced in their way they want people to see her. This is not a bad thing, however; Britney has now successfully made the transition from Pop Princess to a mature adult in control if her life and career.
The video to Overprotected - to me - is not very good. I was rather disappointed with the end result because Britney usually makes such amazing videos - Stronger, Boys, I'm A Slave 4 U, (You Drive Me) Crazy are all examples of this. The video seemed a bit rushed and could've been a lot better! Yet again, this is another essential Britney Spears CD single because of the extra tracks. Track 2 is Overprotected (JS16 Remix). A lot of people have complained about this remix, saying that it is a total load of rubbish. I for one have to disagree. The song has a very powerful beat and whirlwind, breathy vocals. This said, it is definitely not Britney's best remix ever. Track 3 is I'm A Slave 4 U (Thunderpuss Mixshow Edit - The Remix). Now this is what I'm talking about! Everytime I buy a CD single and one of the remixes is by Thunderpuss, I go insane. All his remixes are so lively, funky, fresh and original. This remix is no exception. The beat is superb, the lyrics are often repeated which makes the song even more raunchy and provocative than it already was in the first place, and the bassline is phenomenal. Clocking in at more than 6 minutes, this remix will have you dancing for sure! So all in all, Overprotected is another essential Britney Spears CD single for your collection - buy it now from Amazon.com!

2)JS16 remix - 6:07 - This remix is very different from the original song. It is mostly Beat with a few repeated lyrics.

(You Drive Me) Crazy (The Stop Remix!) [CD/Video] ~ Britney
Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2005Crazy is a typical Spears track with great vocals, well written lyrics and top notch production value. Spears is a very tallented and beautifull woman and this single is no exception. There is so much to like about to say about this track that I will simply say that it is stupendous.

Jeremy Schmidt5 out of 5 starsMega Song!! :)
Unbedingt Kaufen!!! :)
