Hi everyone!

We miss seeing you all in person and hope you are doing well.

IOCDF Online OCD Conference July 31-August 2

Although the International OCD Conference in Seattle is cancelled this year, the good news is that the IOCDF will be holding an online Conference from Friday, July 31st to Sunday August 2nd.  Registration is open now!  There will be presentations as well as community discussion groups (Support Groups:-)) Check out the schedule and more here:

Online OCD Conference

Whether you’ve attended an OCD Conference before or not, we encourage you to look into it!  This is actually a great opportunity to participate in the conference without travel and for a very reasonable price.

It looks like there will be some excellent presentations and a variety of support groups to choose from.  Hope to ‘see’ you there!

IOCDF Town Hall Video Chat OCD/Coronavirus Discussion

In case you missed it, here’s the video from the OCD Town Hall video chat from March 14, 2020.  It has some good strategies for dealing with OCD during this time.

OCD does not like change and uncertainty!  However, like they pointed out in the video, if you’ve worked on your OCD, you already have a lot of experience dealing with uncertainty!

OCD and Anxiety Support Group temporarily cancelled

Hi everyone,

Hope you are doing well!  Due to the coronavirus situation, we are going to temporarily cancel the OCD and Anxiety Support Group meetings.  The hospital has wisely cancelled all community meetings at the present time and will let us know when they are able to resume.  We will cancel next week’s meeting and then see what the situation is in April.  We’ll keep you updated here on the website.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us: https://ocdsupportgroupdfw.wordpress.com/contact-us/

We know this is a difficult time for everyone, and want you to know we are here!  We are open to suggestions about ‘meeting’ online or over the phone.  Maybe we could even meet at a park outside where we could follow the social distancing guidelines.

The OCD Foundation had an excellent town hall video session last weekend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tqqIgEdcYA&t=1s and will have another one this Saturday.

Remember you are not alone and we can all keep going together!
