I have an issue with my wordpress dashboard, i spotted it when i was installing/removing plugins. I had the plugin X installed, i unistalled it and i installed plugin Y. After refreshing the page, plugin X was still there. I have to refresh the page several times to see the latest changes.
The same is when i create pages. I am adding the privacy policy, all good, but when i create the terms and conditions page, it replaces the privacy policy with the last page created. I tried refreshing the tab several time before creating another page, but the same story..
I tried flushing the entire cache after creating each page but still the same.
I use the latest wordpress version on a litespeed server.
I have premium themes on all sites hosted on this server. I scanned it for malware, nothing shows up.
To continue troubleshooting at the WordPress layer, what happens if you uninstall all WordPress plugins (clean WordPress install) and publish a post or page? That way you can confirm if this is a plugin issue, server issue, or some other misconfiguration.
I don’t know how to explain this, so i’m adding a video here. I try to deactive a plugin (any) and then the page shows an old version of it. I have to refresh the tab to get the latest changes, but there’s still something wrong with wp-admin. It is the same when i add articles: I add article1, i post it, then i add article2. All it does when i post article2 is to replace my article1 with article2, but it keeps the article1 link, it changes the title and the content. Same when i add pictures in gallery, picture1 is being replaced with picture2 insted of adding a new one.
I tried disabling plugins, cache, scan the server, the wp install. Does the same with all the plugins disabled. Same in private mode or different browsers.
I can’t find anything, my hosting provider says there’s nothing to do with the server. I’m using the latest php version.
I have 5 websites on this server and what i noticed is that i have these issues with the 2 of them that are in public_html, in separate folders though. Could this be the problem?
Thanks again for replies 🙂
EDIT: Issue solved. I moved the folder, the wordpress installation and changed the domain’s path accordingly, and there are no conflicts now.
