    Hello,
until a few days ago, when I was entering a new article or editing an existing article, the “post settings” information like this appeared at the bottom of the article. I don’t know when or why, now these pages appear like this and the “post settings” sections are no longer visible. I had updated WordPress and a few plugins during this time. What do I need to do to restore the page layout? I hope I don’t get a suggestion like “remove all plugins and try one by one”. It seems almost impossible for me to do this.

Thank you in advance for your interest and help.
    Best regards.

  • Hello @sdarthenos,

In the newer version of WordPress, you might notice a small update — there’s now a pill-shaped blue handle at the bottom of the image. If you drag this handle upward, it will reveal the post settings panel.

This change is part of the recent update, which introduces an “Advanced” option within the context properties. The panel is now part of a draggable and resizable section, offering more flexibility in the editor layout.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions regarding this.

    Hi Tushar,
    Thanks for the answer.
I am not a traditionalist, I try to be open to innovations. However, I do not agree with you that this change that comes with the new version provides more flexibility. This method narrows down the already small text editing section even more.I prefer the old version.

    Regards!

    Hi Demir,
I completely agree with your point — the new context does reduce the editing area. One possible way to mitigate this can be by minimizing both the left and right sidebars, which should increase the available space for editing.

    Regards.
