The latest update caused a critical error on the full website. I had to FTP in and change the name of the plugin folder in order to get the site back. I had to re-enable to Woocommecre PayPal plugin to use PayPal. Version 1.0.29 – 4/14/23

    Hi @dealerpix

It’s related to a php version conflict caused by 1.0.28. But your site has a cache of 1.0.28. and 1.0.29 is the correct version.

Go to your WordPress Admin – Plugins – Add New and search for “PayPal”.

That will ensure you’re getting the correct version.

    Kind Regards

I deleted the folder, just in case, dumped the cache – I use Lightspeed – and as used as I activated the plugin the site went into critical error mode. I again had to change the name of the folder of your plugin to get back in.

    Hi @dealerpix

Make sure you follow these instructions:

Go to your WordPress Admin – Plugins – Add New and search for “PayPal”.

You need to make sure you’re searching in the Add New section of the Admin Plugins page.

I am. I know how to install a plugin. If that’s all the help it’s no issue, I’ll just go back to using the Woocommerce version.

I am trying to help you. You can also go the Advanced page and click the Download button which will download version 1.0.29.

This is a screenshot of the readme file for the folder that I renamed. It is showing 1.0.29 in there. Actually, the image upload is blocked. If you have an email I can send you a screenshot. Here is the section of the readme file copied and pasted…..

FYI, the “Advanced” view page doesn’t show a 1.0.29 download version in the drop down.

WordPress already has the latest version, 1.0.29 pre-selected. It’s labeled “Development Version”. WordPress always labels the latest version has “Development Version” for some reason.
