Triple Star is the Last Battle Ability of Kirby: Squeak Squad, allowing Kirby to launch up to three stars at enemies. When not being launched, the stars will orbit Kirby, and still deal damage to foes on contact. Kirby can launch the stars either straight ahead of him or upward at an angle, after which they will return to him. Kirby can also perform a spinning attack in the air using the cane itself. Like Master, Triple Star is not required to defeat the final boss, can be dropped, and is available to use in regular stages once the game is complete.
In Kirby: Squeak Squad[edit]
In Kirby: Squeak Squad, Triple Star is obtained from Daroach (who initially uses it to battle Kirby with) on his second defeat after being freed from possession by Dark Nebula. Once Kirby has obtained the ability, he chases the dark foe across an asteroid belt and then battles Dark Nebula in his true form using the Triple Star cane.
Once the game is completed, Kirby can obtain this ability from the Copy Ability Room which opens up on the World Hub, assuming he collected all of the Secret Map pieces from various Treasure Chests. Triple Star can be used to solve every puzzle in the game: it can set fires, break metal blocks, remove clouds, cut ropes and foliage, pound stakes, dig through dirt (cane only, not the stars) and more. Also, if Kirby loses Triple Star, the Ability Star will not break unless it falls into a bottomless pit or other hazard. Notably, it is the only ability in the game which cannot be made into a bubbled object.
For unknown reasons, Triple Star will not appear in the Copy Ability Room during the game's Extra Mode, even after defeating Dark Daroach and Dark Nebula.
Other appearances[edit]
Kirby Super Star Ultra[edit]
In Kirby Super Star Ultra, the Triple Star Cane (called the "Three-Star Cane") appears as one of the treasures in The Great Cave Offensive, appearing in the Old Tower area and replacing the 'Autumntime' treasure from the original game.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land / Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]

In Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its remake, the Triple Star cane reappears as a Stone transformation, alongside the Star Rod and the Magical Paintbrush. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, the Triple Star cane also appears as a book pattern in Magolor's Tome Trackers.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]
In Kirby: Triple Deluxe, the Triple Star cane appears as a Rare Keychain which can be collected in Fine Fields - Stage 3.
Kirby Battle Royale[edit]
In Kirby Battle Royale, the Daroach Hat headgear for Whip Kirby has a weapon based on the Triple Star cane.
Kirby Star Allies[edit]
Daroach uses the Triple Star cane as one of his attacks in Kirby Star Allies. When used, he throws out three projectiles which bounce around the area, similar to the way he uses it in his boss fight in Kirby: Squeak Squad. However, the cane itself has drastically reduced utility when compared with its Kirby: Squeak Squad appearance, being only useful for attacking enemies.
Kirby Fighters 2[edit]
In Kirby Fighters 2, the Daroach Hat returns from Kirby Battle Royale, along with its whip based on the Triple Star cane.

- Triple Star bears a similar look to a scrapped Copy Ability called Block, which was intended to appear in Kirby: Squeak Squad.
