Super Waddle Doo[1] is a slightly stronger version of the common enemy Waddle Doo who debuts in Kirby's Return to Dream Land.
Super Waddle Doo looks at most only marginally different than a normal Waddle Doo. It has thicker hair strands on its head, pointed feet, and a darker color than a Waddle Doo. It also has a bright yellow star above its eye and a multicolored star-shaped aura around it, like all other Super Ability Enemies. If inhaled (or defeated and the Ability Star is picked up), Kirby gains the Flare Beam ability.
Super Waddle Doo's only attack is the basic Beam Whip that the normal Waddle Doo uses. Still, like all other Super Ability enemies, it, and the Super Ability in question, can regenerate after defeat if Kirby advances through the stage and comes back in just such a way so that the area where the enemy is is off-screen for a few seconds.

Trivia[edit]
- In Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Super Waddle Doo has a green eye texture that is never used; it instead uses Waddle Doo's blue eye texture, even though said texture is not in Super Waddle Doo's files. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, the green eye texture is properly used, suggesting this could have been an error.
