Halcandle Dee[Japanese title] is a stand-in for Waddle Dee which can be found on Halcandra. It bears many of the same qualities as a standard Waddle Dee, including its often lazy movements and carefree behavior, but it can be distinguished by its appearance, wearing a gray jumpsuit which has a small fold on the top and shows only a pair of oval-shaped eyes, similar to Magolor's.
Like Waddle Dee, Halcandle Dee provides no Copy Ability when swallowed, unless it is also carrying a Parasol. Armor Halcandle Dees also exist, which look distinct from the standard variety.
In Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Halcandle Dee can be seen in the Halcandra levels, Egg Engines and Dangerous Dinner. In Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, it can be found in New Challenge Stages and Last Land challenges.

Halcandle Dee is found everywhere in Halcandra. The Parasol form only appears in Egg Engines - Stage 2 and Dangerous Dinner - Stage 2. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land Halcandle Dee can be found in the following levels and stages:
