Gemaine is a special, rare enemy appearing in Kirby Air Riders. It is a spherical, multicoloured, crystalline enemy with what appears to be a fiery black eye-mask, the right side of which is longer, and the left side having a solitary white eye. Its main purpose is to fill the Special gauge of riders that defeat it.

Game appearances[edit]

Kirby Air Riders[edit]

In Kirby Air Riders, much like with Bang-Bang and UFO, Gemaine appears in Air Ride in front of a rider who is struggling in last place. However, rather than providing a Copy Ability as these enemies do, it instead fills the rider's Special gauge to full when defeated in any manner. It has no attacks, instead simply fleeing from the rider.

It can appear in any Air Ride course (including Nebula Belt, which otherwise has no enemies), and also has a chance of appearing in the Kirby Melee Stadium mode. It shares these distinctions with UFO. In addition, in the Road Trip stage The Farthest Reach, the first available challenge has Gemaines spawning in great abundance.
