Flutter is an "enemy" which appears in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Flutter is nothing more than a small white butterfly. It can sometimes be found on the ground, and will flutter about if Kirby gets near. It cannot harm him, and he cannot harm it. Despite this, it is included as an Enemy Info Card.

Flutter is similar to the butterflies found in various stages in Kirby's Dream Land 3, their main difference being that those butterflies have different colors, while Flutter is only white.

Flutter appears very rarely in stages, and is scarcely noticeable when it does. It usually flutters about in somewhat random fashion when Kirby approaches, and is easily confused as a decorative effect, which it may as well be.
