How to list all available / allowed tools in specific MCP from Copilot CLI? #179457

looks like you’re right I double checked and the CLI still doesn’t have a way to list MCP tools, even in 0.0.355.so yeah the command isn’t in the CLI yet, only VS Code Insiders can show the tool list for now |

Currently, in Copilot CLI, I can only use
/mcp showto list all registered MCP Servers, but I can't see how many tools each MCP has loaded. I need a way to view the complete list of tools so I can configure permissions using--allow-toolor--deny-tool. Is there any way to do this?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
