Traditional Worship and Communion

8:00 AM

Our service follows a rich Christian tradition that includes the reading of Scripture, thoughtful Scripture-based messages from clergy and lay leaders, singing hymns, moving music, and corporate prayer.  Communion each week.

Recent Events

Every day new and exciting things happen here at NUMC! Here are a few things that happened just recently at our church:

For Halloween, we partnered with Newark Methodist Preschool for the annual Trunk or Treat event. It was an evening filled with cool trunk decorations and even cooler costumes!

We also hosted a Middle East Peace Talk event. It was a day filled with two very meaningful presentations. To learn more about the programs, click here.

 

Recent Events

Every day new and exciting things happen here at NUMC! Here are a few things that happened just recently at our church:

On October 1st, Tonya McClain began her tenure as the new pastor of our congregation. She is excited to get to know our congregation, and we are just as excited to get to know her too! 

We also began our Sunday School programs for the new school year in September.
