What am I looking at and how big of a deal is this? Wire running to outlet looks like it was “repaired” at some point - there is a section of yellow wire spliced into a white wire. It’s covered in heavy electric tape and is behind paneling in the basement. House from the 60s. Was this common then?

This subreddit has been taken private from June12 in support of the strike on reddit to protest the upcoming changes to the pricing structure for the reddit API and related rule changes. ------- You probably want all your electronics to run on the 18650 lithium-ion cell. You just don't know it yet.

I found this really affordable ($50) 150w solar generator, butttt it actually has a lead acid battery inside ! It's kinda unique in a way tho lol

It's cosplaying as a lithium power station !

Alliance captain team selection

Just curious what other teams do when it comes time to choose other teams for their alliance. Do you guys include your entire team in the discussion? Is it just head scout with some other scouts and your drive team coach? We have a discussion between the entire team but find it difficult to quickly and efficiently decide what teams we like and don’t like, and how to rank them in our selection.
