FAQs

What does a “test-flight” entail?

The GitHub Copilot test-flight experience is a playground demo powered by GitHub Codespaces, development environments hosted in the cloud. Upon clicking “Get started,” you will be prompted to create a new codespace. Once created, you enter into a browser-based editor with GitHub Copilot built-in, a file to help you get started, and guided tours (“CodeTours”) with step-by-step instructions that guide you on how to use GitHub Copilot.
